What is this app for?
QualTrack is designed to let EV owners share feedback about their vehicles and contribute to research conducted at the Geneva School of Economics and Management, on electric vehicle quality and user satisfaction.
Is QualTrack free to use?
Yes, it's completely free and part of an academic research project.

About Functionalities

How does the app work?
Once your product is registered to our app, you will start receiving the feedback forms and issue reports and it means you’re ready to start using the app!
How do I register my product?
Under the “My Products” page, tap on the “+ Add a new product” button to start filling out the information about your EV. Answer all the questions accurately and make sure you click submit in the end to complete the registration of your product. [Video Link tbc]
How do I submit feedback about my EV?
Under the “My Feedback” page, you will see two types of feedback forms. Once you click on a form, you’ll be guided through a series of questions about your EV's performance, reliability, your experience, and more.
- Click “Report a Problem” anytime you run into an issue regarding your EV. This survey will be always available throughout our study. [Video Link tbc]
- Click “Regular Feedback” when you receive the notification that it is available. This survey will be available for a certain number of times throughout the study. [Video Link tbc]
What types of issues can I report?
You can report anything from battery health, range loss, and charging issues to interior quality and software bugs.
How can I be notified when a new Feedback Survey is available?
Yes. To be notified as each regular feedback survey is ready to be filled, please make sure that you enabled notifications for QualTrack in your phone’s settings.
Can I skip questions I don’t want to answer?
No. To ensure consistency and efficiency of our study, please answer all questions in the survey.
Can I update/view my responses later?
If you believe you’ve made a mistake when answering the questions and would like to review/update your answers, please reach out to us using the “Contact Us” form in the app or email us directly at gsemqualfeed@gmail.com.

About Data Protection

How is my data used?
Your responses help researchers understand EV quality trends. All data is anonymized and used only for research and improvement purposes. For further questions please check our Privacy Policy.
Where is my data stored?
Personal data under your profile is stored locally on your device. We collect the survey responses and feedback forms to our research servers only when you explicitly submit them.
Is my personal information safe?
Yes. We do not sell or share personal data. Any data you submit is protected and used solely as described in the Privacy Policy.
Can I update or delete my feedback?
Yes. You can review, edit, or request deletion of your data at any time. Just contact us at gsemqualfeed@gmail.com.
